About Me

Chapter 1

I am one of seven children, raised Catholic, and always knew there was something different about me. I learned young that it was okay to be an individual. But life was scary. It was hard to be myself. I grew up acting, playing music in the school band, and singing. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to be when I grew up.

Chapter 2

Moved to northern California in my early 20s where I learned how to train horses and was introduced to the world of metaphysics. I was blown away. It literally changed my life almost immediately. I already knew the world was made of energy, but when I realized that my energy is always interacting with the energy of those close to me, I shifted. I moved from being reactionary to having expanded awareness of everything around me. I learned that things weren’t happening TO me, they were happening FOR me. I started listening to my gut. I stopped blaming others for the things that happened in my life. I was no longer at the whim of everyone else’s decisions: how I should act, what I should be doing with my life, who I should be with. My boyfriend at the time and I had a saying: “Don’t SHOULD on me!” and I have continued using this phrase. I stopped looking to others to validate and approve of my decisions. I became my own person; I felt like me for the first time. My growth continued, learning how to truly take care of myself–body and spirit. My health improved. My energy improved. I discovered the magic of Reiki and massage. I became trained as a Reiki healer. I fell in love with yoga. I had never felt so alive.

Chapter 3

Had a beautiful baby boy. Got my Post Baccalaureate teaching credential and Masters in Science Education. I got married, got a teaching job, and got divorced 7 years later. I then bought a house on my own. While living in this home with my child, I knew in my heart that I was meant for more. I had been introduced to Mike Dooley, through his Notes from the Universe (www.tut.com). In one of his emails, he called for people to join him to become trained in his Infinite Possibilities course and to learn how to teach others these amazing things. I knew I had to do it. I enrolled in the Train the Trainer course and became certified. I offered my first course right away to my friends, who loved it, and I knew that I had found my calling. It felt so amazing sharing the philosophy that I had been living since my early 20s, and to have a way to share it with people. But I still wasn’t where I needed or wanted to be. I wasn’t truly happy.

Chapter 4

I moved again–this time from a small town in southwestern Colorado to the growing city of Grand Junction, Colorado. I taught for 2 years, and then, harshly, my school closed down, due to declining enrollment. And I took that as an opportunity–to finally launch my business and teach people the Infinite Possibilities of life and the Art of Living their Dreams! I was on the fast track to my new career and the life of MY dreams!

I was in public education for 8 beautiful years. I mastered my craft, and adored teaching children (mainly pre-teens and teens). Now I am here for the next chapter of my life, and I am writing it as I go. My intention is to touch as many lives as possible and help people see that if they can dream it, it can come true. I still sing and play guitar, I love to dance, and I love to love. And I’m still not quite sure what I want to be when I grow up…
